Booking your session: Our senior sessions including hair and makeup are scheduled Tuesday-Friday, typically beginning around 1pm to allow our makeup team enough time to create your look. The session fee is due at the time of booking to hold your date and time. Session fees/retainer fees are non-refundable.

How soon should I book?
Senior sessions book up very quickly. Call us early to book a session! Remember, the whole process from session to delivered portraits takes 6-8 weeks.

How much do senior portraits cost?
 Every session requires a $500 minimum order. Our products range from $125 - $8200 and most of our clients invest between $1,800 - $3,500 on their portrait order. 

Do you have payment plans?
Yes. Professional photography is definitely an investment. Payments are typically split into three installments. Clients are required to sign a 'Portrait Payment Agreement'. And the best thing is....it's interest free!

Can I get digital copies of my photos?
Silver Image Photography is a unique portrait experience and we value our custom portrait products. With that said, you can earn digital images of your purchased products depending on how much you purchase, or you can purchase them individually.

Can I have an appointment on a Saturday?
Senior appointments are only scheduled Monday-Friday. Keep in mind, if you are having hair and makeup done, it's usually Tuesday - Friday. Most of our seniors take the day off or have early release the day of their session so they'll have plenty of time to prep, plan, and get all their clothes and props ready for their session! 

What happens if I book my session but then have to rearrange the time?
You can reschedule once with a 48 business hours notice. This way we can open your time slot up for someone else and we'll have to coordinate with our makeup artist. Your reschedule must take place within one month of your original session date. No shows and cancellations within 48 business hours will forfeit their session fee. *If you have a Monday session....we must know by the prior Friday.

What's your session cancellation policy?
Your session fee (or retainer fee) is due when you book your session to reserve your date, time, and makeup artist exclusively for you.  This fee is non-refundable. The makeup artist also charges a $75 cancellation fee in addition to your session fee. See the above answer for reschedules. *SESSIONS BOOKED during Spring Break may not be changed or cancelled. 

Can I bring a pet to my session?
Yes.  We don't allow animals in the studio, but we will certainly do photos of you and your pet outdoors. You'll need to have someone available to take Fido home after their portion of the session.

What happens at the "Premiere Ordering" appointment?
You will come to the studio to view and order your portraits.  We ask that any major decision makers be at this appointment because we only present it once.  We'll show you all of your photos on our big projection screen, help you narrow the images down to your favorites and then help you select the portraits that work best!  This appointment typically takes between 45 mins. and 2 hours. You will be placing and paying for your entire order at this time.

Can I go somewhere far away for my photos? 
Absolutely! There is of course an extra charge for traveling out of our normal local shooting area, BUT we will go anywhere you'd like!  Let us know where you want to go and we can tell you the travel fee.

What type of clothing is good for a senior photo shoot?
It's great to have a variety of outfits! We photograph lots of amazing prom dresses, crazy outfits and of course tons of casual every day stuff.  We recommend choosing outfits that won't look dated in 5 years. Solid colors work great.

Does Silver Image do cap and gown?
Yes we can. It is most definitely not our favorite thing to do simply because it's boooooring.  Only 1-2% of our seniors even request this anymore. You will need to bring your own cap and gown.

Turn Around Times: 
Once your order is placed, it's typically 3-6 weeks until your order is ready. Every one of your purchased images will be fully retouched and printed by our professional lab. Quality definitely takes time!
